Terms & Conditions
Version 2 · Please read these before you order. By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them.
1. About us
is run by , a sole trader based in London. You can contact us at . In these terms, “we” and “us” means , and “you” means the person placing the order.
2. Your order
- Your order is an offer to buy. You must confirm it by clicking the link in the email we send you. A contract forms when you confirm it and we accept it.
- Orders that aren't confirmed within 24 hours are cancelled automatically.
- We may contact you to check your order is genuine before we start making it, and we may refuse or cancel any order before we start — for example if we can't verify it, something has run out, a price was shown wrongly, or we can't deliver to you. If you've already paid us, we'll refund you in full, and that is the limit of what we owe you for the cancellation.
- Please check your order carefully before paying, especially the spelling of any letters. We make exactly what you order.
3. Custom-made items — no cancellations or change-of-mind returns
- Every keychain is made by hand to your own design. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, items made to your specifications or personalised are not covered by the usual 14-day right to cancel.
- That means once you've confirmed your order, you can't cancel it, return it or get a refund because you changed your mind, chose the wrong colours, misspelt a name, or don't like the design. The full price is still payable.
- If you message us very quickly and we haven't started your order yet, we may agree to change or cancel it, but that's entirely our choice.
4. Handmade items — what to expect
- Colours on screen and in photos are a guide. Real paracord, beads and charms may look slightly different, and colours can vary between batches.
- Example photos show our style, not the exact item you'll get. Each keychain is unique, and small differences in knots, lengths, spacing and finish are part of being handmade. These are not faults.
- Letter colours: unless you tell us otherwise in the order note, we choose letter bead colours to suit the theme you picked. Our choice of letter colours isn't a fault.
- If a bead, letter or charm you chose turns out to be damaged or unavailable after you order, we may swap it for the closest match we have. If we can't find a reasonable match, we'll contact you, and if you'd rather not have the substitute we'll refund the price of that item.
5. Special requests and extra charges
- Special requests (such as more than 7 letters) are at our discretion. Asking doesn't mean we've agreed to it.
- If we can do it, we'll email you to tell you about any extra charge, which is added to your total. If you don't want to pay it, tell us and we'll make your keychain with the standard letters you entered.
- If we can't do the request, we'll make your keychain using the standard letters you entered. This isn't grounds for cancelling your order.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and shown when you order, together with any delivery charge.
- Payment is in cash, in full, when we deliver your order. Please have the exact amount ready if you can.
- If you ask to pay by bank transfer instead, it's up to us whether we offer it. If we do, we'll email you our details. Please use your order number as the reference. We may ask for payment before we deliver, and we'll confirm once it has arrived.
- We may ask for payment in advance, in full or as a deposit, before we start making an order, for example for large orders or special requests.
7. Delivery
- We deliver by hand to NW4 and NW11 postcodes only. We'll contact you to arrange a time.
- Any making or delivery times we give are estimates, not guarantees.
- You must give us your real name, a correct address, phone number and email, and be available to receive your order. If we can't deliver after reasonable attempts to arrange it, we may ask you to collect, or charge for a further delivery attempt.
- We'll only hand over your order once it has been paid for in full. The item stays ours until it's paid for, and becomes your responsibility once it's handed to you.
- If you don't pay, or we can't arrange delivery within 14 days of your keychain being ready, we may cancel your order and keep the item. Because it was made to your order, the price is still owed to us.
- Don't place orders in someone else's name or for an address where nobody expects them. We may cancel any order we think isn't genuine.
8. Faulty items
- Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply: items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.
- If your keychain arrives faulty or damaged, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, with your order number and clear photos. Please keep the item.
- If you tell us within 30 days of delivery, you can choose a refund of what you paid. Otherwise we'll first offer a repair or remake, and if that doesn't fix it, a refund or partial refund.
- These are not faults: normal wear and tear, fraying, fading or marks from everyday use; damage from accidents, misuse, pulling, cutting, heat or getting it wet; damage after delivery; and the handmade variations and colour choices in section 4.
9. Safety
- Our keychains are decorative accessories, not toys. They contain small parts and cords that could be a choking or strangulation hazard. Keep them away from children under 3, and don't let young children use them unsupervised.
- Carabiners are for attaching keys and bags only. They are not for climbing, lifting, or holding weight, and must never be used to support a person.
- Paracord is a cord, not safety equipment. Don't rely on it for survival, rescue or load-bearing uses.
10. Our liability
- We're only responsible for loss or damage that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or being careless. We are not responsible for business losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Apart from the exceptions below, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that by law can't be limited.
11. Photos of your keychain
We may photograph keychains we make and show them on our website or social media as examples. If you'd rather we didn't show yours (for example because it has a name on it), just tell us in your order note or email us and we won't use it, or we'll take it down.
12. Your information
We use your details to make and deliver your order. See our Privacy Notice.
13. Other important terms
- We may update these terms. The version you agreed to at checkout applies to your order.
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
